About Our Logo
Our logo is a variant of the
crosses on top of our sanctuary, steeple, and chapel. It is also a
representation of First UMC's Mission Statement.

The Cross itself defines us as Christians;
(love God)

the circle speaks not only to the oneness of God but also the completeness of
our one family; (love one another)

the open ends of the cross is symbolic of our own mission to take our family,
God, and Christ and go out into the world. (become disciples for Jesus
Christ)
